So I havent edited any of my pictures from Florida yet but I thought I would post a quick update about the rest of our trip to Florida.
It was a really fun trip hanging out with teh g-ma and of course the sister and mother. We mostly cleaned and sorted through my g-mas house and attic. It rained the whole entire time. The only time it did not rain was the 1st day when we left CO and made it to Illinois. Everyday after that it rained, even on the way back.
We did get to the beach once and we found some pretty cool sharks teeth on the beach. Also we got to drive my grandma’s golf cart around which was pure awesome. The breaks in it were very touchy and if we breaked a bit too hard the passenger (usually my grandma) got thrown toward the windshield and possibly given whiplash. Though she didnt seem to mind too much.
Because it rained so much all day everyday there was a swamp in my grandma’s back yard. At night the frogs would come out and croak and ribbitt all night long. Well one evening my sister and I decided to go trek through the swamp. Well that was pretty much a bad idea because the fire ants were out (yes in the water) and climbed up to my back and with out me knowing bit a good sized patch on my back. It looks like my skin was rubbed raw and it is highly uncomfortable, itching and hurting. I suggest never go outside when there are fire ants around even in the rain, lake, or swamp, they will attack!
Other than that we didnt do too much hung out, ate, slept, played skip bo, cleaned, sorted, organized, and that is pretty much it. It was pretty good!
Now I am back in sunny CO, hoping to find a job soon and getting ready to start school in the fall.
